Chapters and Divisions

What are Chapters and Divisions?

The Michigan Counseling Association is made up of two classifications: Chapters and Divisions. 

When you join MCA, you can choose to join more regional chapters or more specialized divisions as a part of your membership. You may also join some divisions and chapters separate of the MCA. 

Chapters: Regionally defined areas of the state. 

Genesee Area Counseling Association

Licensed Professional Counselors of Northern Michigan

Oakland Counseling Association

West Michigan Counseling Association

Divisions: Specialty defined areas of counseling. 

Michigan Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (MACES)

Michigan Association for Spiritual Ethical and Religious Values in Counseling (MASERVIC)
