DPCC provides both faith-based and secular counseling. Our mission is to provide services at a cost that is affordable. We use a sliding fee scale and, for those with serious financial constraints, we have a Client Aid Fund that is supported by donations. We participate with most insurance companies. Applicants should be on the provider panel for those insurance companies or commit to completing the credentialing process. Remuneration is competitive with an opportunity for supplemental payment based on insurance company payments.

Position Overview
We are seeking a contractual therapist to join our Traverse City, MI team. The ideal candidate will be licensed as a Professional Counselor or Social Worker and experienced in providing therapy to individuals struggling with anxiety, depression and/or Trauma. Individuals trained in DBT, EMDR, CBT or working with eating disorders preferred. This is a hybrid position allowing counselor/therapist to work virtually in addition to face to face.

Key Responsibilities

Provide individual sessions using evidence-based approaches, including DBT, CBT, IFS or EMDR.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clients' unique needs.
Work collaboratively with clients and treatment team members to address issues related to anxiety, depression, and eating disorders.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.
Foster a supportive, nonjudgmental environment that encourages client growth and well-being.
Qualifications

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology
Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Michigan (LPC, LMSW, LLP, or equivalent).
Specialized training or certification in DBT, CBT, or EMDR is preferred.
Experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma and/or eating disorders a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to professional growth.
