  • We are looking for a fully-licensed clinician who is passionate about trauma-informed mental health care! Our ideal candidate is someone who has knowledge and skill to work with children, teens, adults, couples, or families.

    Professional Qualities of Our Ideal Candidates:

    Fully Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Fully Licensed Social Worker (LMSW) in state of Michigan

    At least 2 years of psychotherapy experience

    Ability to provide therapy sessions independently and competently

    Professional references reflecting therapist’s proficiencies and work ethic

    Availability to serve our community and contribute to office culture in-office at least 2 days per week

    Open Chair Counseling offers:

    A competitive fee split

    A flexible schedule/choice of clients, as well as in-person and/or hybrid telehealth clinical work

    Electronic Medical Record that provides seamless HIPPA compliant telehealth, billing and documentation platforms

    Billing and administrative support

    Working with Open Chair Counseling clinicians who have a passion for high quality clinical care, a collaborative environment, and community involvement in local events and speaking opportunities

    Preference to clinicians who:

    Have specialized trauma training

    Are passionate about working with areas of: play therapy, parenting, couple’s counseling, or other niche needs

    Understand early childhood social emotional development, parent-infant relationships and attachment

    Job Type: Contract 1099

    Pay: Varies based on insurance contracted rate and clinician cash-pay rate

    Schedule: Create your own schedule, coordinate office sharing with other therapists

    In-person

    Hybrid in-person and telehealth
