2024-2025 MCA Executive Board Nominees

Candidates for President-Elect

Kimberly Seid, LPC, CAADC, CCTP, ACS, CCS

I am a licensed professional counselor, board-certified addiction counselor and clinical supervisor, and an approved clinical supervisor in Macomb County, Michigan. I am currently working on my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision at Walden University. I'm completing my internship and will begin my dissertation phase in November 2024. I will be examining the effectiveness of ecotherapy in early recovery. As an Outpatient Program Leader at Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center, I enjoy working with other professionals and advocating for those in need, specializing in trauma, anxiety, and substance abuse. I am also certified to supervise both addiction and professional counselors. My desire to continue working as a board member with the MCA is to help expand the support to all Michigan counselors, advocating for what is in our best interest.
